Find out which CDN provider or cloud provider provides you with the fastest download experience!

This webpage will use your your Internet connection to download a 64 kbyte file from selected CDN (Content Delivery Network) providers and servers hosted by selected cloud computing providers. The file will be downloaded 10 times. Afterwards the average request time will be shown in a graph and you can compare the speed of the different providers for your location with the results of more than 1 million tests.

Your test results are logged into the cloudclimate CDN performance database and will be used to compute global results for all visitors in the future.

How Does It Work?

This webpage uses AJAX to download a 64 kbyte image from CDN providers and Cloud hosting sites. Each file is downloaded 10 times and afterwards the average is calculated and shown in a graph. Graphs are provided by Google Chart Tools. IP to country resolution is provided by smart-ip.net. Online database for test results is provided by nextDB.net.

What information is logged into the database?

After running each test following data about the test results is stored in our database: Date/time, the country that you reside in (based on your browser's IP address), average time for the tests for one site as well as individual times and the cdn site name. No personal data or other browser data is stored. Your privacy is kept safe on cloudclimate.com!
