Website cloudharmony.com has posted a detailed report about cloud speeds on their website with a list of top clouds and top CDNs.
Using more than 1000 users worldwide (acquired via Amazon Mechanical Turk) they have gathered download speed test for numerous providers, cloud hosters and CDNs.
In a global perspective cloud servers at IBM Developer Cloud, Voxel and Amzon EC2 (US-East) have the best connections around the globe. For CDNs - also in a global perspective - CacheFly, Edgecast and Cloudfront lead the pack.
